This is me with my family at a family wedding a few months ago. I love my friends and family. I believe I have a good sense of humor and I am quite sarcastic. I over-think most things in life, and am very much a perfectionist. I am compassionate and sympathetic. I notice the beauty all around me every day. Our home sits on the edge of a forest and we own a couple of acres. I regularly get to enjoy seeing and hearing the birds and seeing other animals. We live across the street from a corn field. So, pretty much every day that we have good weather, I’m able to enjoy our beautiful sunrises and sunsets, since we’re not surrounded by other houses or buildings close to us. I am so fortunate for all I am surrounded by in this life. I am fortunate enough to have this business, and with it, to be able to do something I really enjoy. I started this business in 2004 as Bee Photography and DVD Services. I’ve met some wonderful people during the last eight years and have really loved so many of the pictures I have taken. At heart, I am a happy, goofy person with not many worries on a daily basis However, I realize not everyone is as fortunate. Many people are going through difficult times, due to bigger, more serious, and longer-lasting issues in life than just the current poor economy. There are three ‘efforts’ which are very important to me, and I try to give back to them through my photography.
The families that we photograph for have babies who either do not survive birth, or who are not expected to live very long. My daughter was born healthy and thriving. My heart goes out to everyone of these families I have photographed, and all others worldwide who have lost a child, regardless of their age or circumstance. You can read more about this organization by clicking on the link. The service is free. The photographers work on a volunteer basis and we are passionate about this work.
They sacrifice immensely to protect this great nation and to ensure my freedoms in this country. I am so grateful to them. I offer free photography to those families, to help them bridge the distance between them and their loved ones. Click on the link for more details.
This is a campaign I started in order to help women of all ages, who have been disfigured on the outside, see how truly beautiful they really are. I want them to know that not everyone in the world only sees them for their ‘surface scars’, but for their inside beauty that shines through their eyes and their smile from their heart and soul.
